Remembering Your Pets
Our pets can bring so much love and laughter to our lives. Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things, but knowing we were able to give them a happy life full of love helps us through those difficult times. Help us honor your beloved pets by sharing a memorial of your pet here.

Remembering Selena Joy
Did you know that pets are angels sent from heaven? I know of at least one. An angel in the form of a cat traveled from heaven and into my heart nearly 16 years ago.

I awakened one morning with a profound need to adopt a cat. Not just any cat—a specific one that was waiting just for me. I found my beautiful gray kitten, who had lovely pink markings, on the website of one of my local animal shelters. When I visited the shelter, I spent a very long time gently talking to a very frightened kitten while she sat trembling in a corner. After our visit, I adopted my angel and named her Selena Joy. Interestingly enough, prior to that morning, I had suffered from ailurophobia for nearly five decades. Selena Joy, who had been rescued near a trash bin, was equally frightened of people. Needless to say, we had a lot to learn from and about each other. I fell in love with Selena the very morning I woke up with the need to find her. Selena, in turn, learned to love me in a short period of time. She taught me how to overcome my fear of cats. In return, I taught her how to trust. Selena was by my side during the good times and the difficult ones. She was the most loving and compassionate caregiver during my cancer journey. Selena instinctively knew that I was sick, positioning herself close by my side both day and night. She was truly essential to my healing and my journey to becoming cancer-free. I thought of and loved Selena as my own daughter. Our time together on earth was incredibly dear to me. One of my fondest memories is Selena Joy’s love of blankets. She especially enjoyed any blanket that I was currently using or had previously used. I remember cuddling together, and Selena Joy would always find the perfect spot on top of the blanket to rest. I always smiled watching her gently and completely take over the entire space. I truly believe our shared moments brought both of us immense comfort. Selena Joy returned to heaven recently. Her work on earth was successfully completed. Now, she is saving a place for me on a sofa with our favorite blankie, and I look forward to our beautiful reunion. Until then, I will hold Selena Joy tightly in my heart, filled with fond memories of the precious time we spent together. Rest in peace, my little angel. — Momma

Remembering Caleb
A Tribute to Caleb — Our Gentle Guardian Caleb was the protector of our family — steady, loyal, and always watching over us with a quiet strength that made us feel safe.
But beneath that protector’s heart was a softness that made him unforgettable. He was gentle, loving, and full of warmth. He carried his stuffed hedgehog like it was his prized possession, a little symbol of his tender side. And when the zoomies hit, the whole house came alive. Those bursts of joy were pure Caleb — full of energy, full of personality, full of life. Caleb wasn’t just part of our family; he was part of a trio. He adored Khloe, and he loved Tucker just as deeply. The three of them were a little pack — inseparable, connected, and happiest when they were together. They moved through life as a unit, each one bringing out something special in the others. Their bond was one of the sweetest gifts we ever received. Ron, Khloe, Tucker, and I feel the emptiness of his absence every day. Our home is quieter, our routines feel different, and our hearts are carrying the weight of missing him. But we also carry eleven incredible years of adventures, laughter, comfort, and love. Caleb gave us everything he had, every single day. He protected us in life, and now his memory protects our hearts. He will always be part of our story — our gentle guardian, our joyful boy, our Caleb.

When you first came home, you were timid and unsure. You didn’t care much for toys, and sounds could frighten you. Little by little, though, you learned that you were safe, that you were loved, and that you had found your forever home. And then you blossomed!! 🤍 You became the sweetest, most affectionate, cuddly, vibrant little soul. Your personality grew bigger than life and you found your way into everyone’s heart. You weren’t just my pup—you were my child, a piece of so many hearts, and a part of our lives that can never be replaced. Losing you has left a silence that words can’t fill. I miss your face, your morning cuddles, your personality (attitude), and all the little things that made you. I would give anything for just one more morning snuggle, one more moment with you, one more chance to tell you how deeply you are loved. I find comfort knowing you are no longer hurting and that you are with your sister, Meli, once again. 🌈🐾 I hope you found her waiting for you, and I hope you both are running, playing, and feeling nothing but happiness. Nyla and I miss you more than words could ever explain. 🤍 We will carry you with us every single day, until the day we get to see you both again. Run free, my sweet DJ. You were loved beyond measure, and you always will be. Forever my Fizgig. Forever in my heart. Until we meet again. 🤍🌈🐾

Remembering Murky
19 years ago I wanted to adopt a cat and fell in love with a sweet kitten at the Humane Society that, unknown to me, had been featured on local television that day.
It was meant to be as I came back and had to win a lottery to be able to adopt him. What I ended up winning was a sweet, lovable kitten who only wanted to be close to people and cuddle. He used to lay on my arm, cradle his head between mine and my neck, and just happily drool on my shirt while purring. I’ll miss you forever, Murky. My sweet handsome little baby man.

I adopted you when you were only 2 and you instantly became a big part of my family for 14 years. You were the first and only dog that I’ve met that never growled at anyone or anything. In fact, you never showed any emotion other than happiness. You were the first one to welcome anyone into my home and you adopted all our other pets, quickly becoming their mother figure. Everyone loved you. For being such a dainty, tiny girl, you certainly had an enormous impact on our lives. It comforts me that you won’t be in pain anymore. You won’t be scared. You won’t be confused. We will all miss you so much, Lolo. xoxo Mama

For 14 years, Blackie wasn’t just a dog. He was family. He was there for the good days, the hard days, and all the little moments in between. He gave us a kind of unconditional love that we’ll carry with us forever. It’s hard to say goodbye to a friend who gave us so many beautiful memories. But we’re grateful that we got to be his family, and even more grateful that he got to be ours. Run free, Blackie. 🖤🐾 You will always be loved, always be remembered, and forever be a part of our family. Thank you for 14 beautiful years. We love you, Blackie. Until we meet again. 🖤

Remembering Ash
Ash. I got hm when he was only one. The first day he was in my shoulder. A total mamas boy. He loved to be on my lap, snuggling or cuddling.
Of course I named him Ash because of his color. Wasn’t much a boy to play with toys. But loved his fur family. His little crinkle ears made him so cute. I miss him so terribly. His brother passed away in March so this is exceptionally hard. I chose humane euthanasia because even with the harsh treatment he wouldn’t get that much more time. I love you Ash and I miss you so very much. R.I.P my young man. Was only 10. 💔💔💔🌈🌈🌈. I’d like to say what a caring and compassionate place SVC is. I’ve had three other cats euthanized here and my daughter had two. Thanks for all you do.

I was fortunate to work from home, which meant we spent nearly every hour of every day together. He would sit faithfully beside me through long workdays, follow me from room to room, and eagerly join me on our daily walks. Wherever I went, Atticus was never far behind. He had the gentlest soul—loving, kind, loyal, and happy, with just enough mischief to make us laugh. His smile brightened our days, and his quiet presence made our house feel like home. We were blessed to have him for thirteen wonderful years, though it still feels far too short. The love he gave us and the memories we shared will stay with us forever. You were in the cage for about 15 minutes and were allowed to come out. A short time later, we took you and Lily outside to go potty. We all came in and I went to do something when all of a sudden Jenna screamed Herbie, bad boy. I immediatly came out to see what was going on and Jenna said he just peed all over my backpack and my computer. As soon as she said that and I looked at you, you had the cutest look on your face as to say, see what you get when you yell at me and put me in time out. Baxter was a sweetheart. He only wanted to love other people and have butt pats as much as possible. However, if you were a fly, you were in danger.
