When Tess was about a year old, I had a severe case of food poisoning. I was hanging on the toilet for about 15 minutes when I felt a wet nose poking my leg. I looked up to see that Tess had surrounded me with a dozen stuffed animals. She couldn't help me but she wanted to make me feel better. She was the most caring and loyal being on the face of the Earth. She wasn't just my best friend, but anyone who met her. My life was better with her and I will always love her.
