Samie started his life tossed on the streets at 3 months old. He had to fight for his life and lost one of his eyes as a result. I saw a picture of him from the humane society and it was love at first sight. I got him at 6 months old. He was a love bug and never quite knew how to be a dog. He tried. All who encountered him could not help but love him. He would squeal like a dolphin when he got excited. He travelled with me and his two fur partners to oceans, mountains and his favorite trails in the woods of Montreal. He loved people and did not have a mean bone in his body. At the dog park he would walk up to people, tell them a story, they proceed to roll onto his back so they could rub his belly. Two days ago he was viscously attacked by a dog that a negligent neighbor consistently lets loose in his front yard. The attack was too much for my sweet boy and he went into heart failure. He is the love of my life. We will never be the same without him. The pain is almost unbearable.
