How One-Eye got his Name
One-Eye had a solid wooden serving tray dropped on his back as a young kitten. He survived the incident with nothing more than vision loss in his right eye. I fed him meats and cheeses to help him recover. His only issue from then on was a minor depth perception problem.
My (Tiffany's) Favourite Memory of One-Eye
Whenever One-Eye wanted mama's attention, he would crawl into my lap. No matter what I was doing, he would demand I pet him. One-Eye would lay his head under my chin while laying on my chest. He would sleep like that and I would pet him.
My Dad's (Grover's) Favourite Memory of One-Eye
One-Eye would lay in my lap and fall asleep for hours. It was his favourite spot in the house. His purring soothed my nerves. He was the best friend anyone could ask for.
One-Eye brought our family immense comfort and happiness. The just under six and a half years we had with him were not enough. Our only comfort is the knowledge that One-Eye is no longer suffering.
