Calvin was a cruelty case and very shy and timid when we adopted him. We first bonded in the meeting field playing soccer and giving him "bellies". When we rescued him 5 years ago he was very malnourished and fearful of almost everything. Despite his fears he mustered up the courage to jump through a screen window and off our second story apartment balcony within 24 hours of meeting our new friend. After hours of searching, and with the help of a couple wonderful neighbors, we found him frolicking around the driving range of Papago Park Golf Course. When we received the call to rescue our special friend a second time, he was happy as can be safe and sound in the golf cart storage area. Calvin has never left our side since and was the "bestest friend" we could have ever asked for. We love you Calvin!
