Hadessah was born and raised in Washington state. Her family owns a commercial fishing business in Bristol Bay, Alaska. She has been going fishing up there since she was 4, and over time she worked into captaining her own boat. She was also very competitive in a sport called equestrian vaulting, which is gymnastics and dance on horseback. She competed in competitions all over the states, in Canada, and in International and National events. Growing up doing that has definitely shaped her into the person she is today, and is one of the biggest reasons she loves working with animals. She’s new to the area but is very excited to call Arizona her new home and to be working here.

Jenny grew up in an animal loving family surrounded by all kinds of pets, including hamsters, bunnies, dogs, cats, reptiles, and horses. Her passions outside of work are her education, caring for her two kitties, Stella and Miller, visiting her family, snowboarding with friends when northern Arizona finally gets a new white blanket, playing tennis and going to the gym. She does all of this while still being a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in cellular biology with her graduation date finally approaching December 2019. Even if she is stressed about her schoolwork, that stress diminishes when she sees all those wagging tails every morning at TSVC!

Ximena has always had an affinity towards all animals since she was a little girl back in Argentina; her family always had cats and dogs. As a kid she would always feed and play with the strays back in Merlo, Buenos Aires. Once she moved with her family to the U.S she continued to show interest in caring for any animal that she came across. After graduating high school, she went and got her degree in audio engineering, and moved to L.A at 19 to work at 4th Street Recording in Santa Monica. After living there for close to a year, she moved back to Arizona, and within time found a passion for veterinary medicine. Her career as a veterinary technician began at Integrative Veterinary Oncology with Dr. Hershey, and from there she found her way into a general practice, which led her to being part of their surgical team. She knew from there that she wanted to be in emergency medicine more than anything, and had that opportunity when she joined Blue Pearl. Now she’s been working in ER for a year, and is very happy to now be part of the TSVC team. During her free time, she enjoys working on her freelance photography, traveling, and spending time with her fur babies – she has: 4 cats and 2 dogs who she loves very much.
