A happy memory of our kitty, Aphrodite, is that when the kids went to bed she took it upon herself to be snuggled. So she’d gingerly climb up into either my husband’s or my chest and then flop and then purr really loud and fall asleep. She was a great kitty as she knew when I needed someone to snuggle with. She would pace between my legs as I walked anxiously around our apartment until I sat down. As soon as I sat down, she’d curl up in my lap and let me pet her until I felt better.
