Dr. William J. Langhofer, DVM
Dr. Langhofer grew up in Indiana as the son of a veterinarian. He graduated from Purdue University in 1998, as the youngest veterinarian in the nation. He works closely with many species of exotic pets, and is very interested in holistic medicine in dogs and cats. He and his wife have a beautiful daughter and son. His pets at home include 3 dogs, 2 cats, 3 birds, and a desert tortoise. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, spicy food, and is an avid whitewater kayaker.

Dr. Rowena D'Monte, DVM
Dr. D'Monte grew up in India and decided that she wanted to become a veterinarian because as a young child her family could not afford to pay for the vet bills for all of her sick pets. She graduated from Washington State University in 1984, and now works in general practice and emergency clinics throughout the valley. She has many pets including 4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 snake, 1 rabbit, a tortoise, and an iguana. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, eating out, watching movies, and eating cotton candy.

Dr. Samantha Lieberman, DVM
Dr. Lieberman grew up on the Jersey Shore and graduated from Rutgers University in 2000 with a BS in Animal Science and Science Education. Samantha lived on the beautiful Caribbean Island of St. Kitts for vet school and then spent a year at Washington State University before graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She spent the next 3.5 years working at Avian and Exotic Emergency Animal Hospital outside of Chicago until she was able to join her family in sunny Arizona. She enjoys traveling, sushi & playing with her 2 Terriers, Marley & Rocky.

Dr. Joseph Lockhart, DVM
Dr. Lockhart grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. As an undergraduate he attended Louisiana State University. He attended veterinary school in St. Kitts, in the West Indies, and graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lockhart performed his small animal internship at VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona. He has one dog named Luna and two cats named Thundercat and Anthony. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, eating sushi, working out, exercising his artistic skills by drawing and painting.

Dr. Amanda Reed, DVM
Dr. Reed was born and raised in rural Indiana. Her family owned a hobby farm with horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and an iguana. Because of this early exposure to all types of animals Dr. Reed decided she wanted to become a veterinarian at the young age of 4. She attended Franklin College for her undergraduate degree: Bachelor of Arts in Biology, and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University. Dr. Reed's interests include hiking, knitting, listening to music and playing with her Labrador Retreiver mix, Ares.

Paul - Hospital Administrator
A native of New Mexico, he was raised on the upper Gila River in the small farming and ranching community of Virden. He graduated with a BA from Western New Mexico University and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University.Paul lived in Brazil for two years and was fascinated with the exotic birds and reptiles that were so abundant in the Amazon.He currently owns 4 quarter horses, 3 Australian Cattle dogs (Blue Heelers)and his daughters raise show hogs with their local 4H club.


Client Services

 
Autumn - Client Services Coordinator
Autumn was born in Minnesota, and cannot wait to travel back. Since being in Arizona she has dreamed of being everything from a horse trainer to a sea world entertainer. She started working at TSVC in early 2009 and has never been happier. In her free time, she loves taking spontaneous trips out of state, going out with friends, shopping and spending time with her family.

Ashley
Ashley was born in Iowa and was raised in Arizona. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their 2 year old son. She has an American Staffshire Terrier Mix named Caramella and a Domestic long hair cat named Crystal. Ashley had the pleasure of being around a variety of pets growing up from frogs and turtles to birds and fish. One of her favorite places to visit is SeaWorld as Ashley aspires to one day work with Marine Animals. In her spare time she loves scrapbooking, photography, baking and spending as much time as possible outdoors, camping, 4 wheeling and getting out of the city.

Technicians

 
Samantha - Lead Technician
Samantha was born in England and raised in Arizona. She Currently has a Pit Bull named Carmel, a Doxen named Mylee, a Shih-Tzu named Isis, and a cat named Spike. All her life she wanted to work with animals, and that is how she ended up at Pima Medical Institute to become a Veterinary Assistant. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, laying on the beach, and taking trips to San Diego.


Tiea
Tiea was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in South Scottsdale. She has had many, many pets growing up, and loves animals. She went to Pima Medical Institute and graduated with honors as a Veterinary Assistant. She has always loved working with and around animals. She has two little girls and two cats. If there was such a thing as spare time she enjoys hiking, biking, travel, and spending time with her children.

Melissa
Melissa is a native of Arizona that lives with her two pets, her dog Jade and her cat Shadow. She loves veterinary medicine because it gives her something new to look forward to everyday. She spends her time working but, also loves to play violin and guitar. Melissa also tries to find time to go up north and hike around the mountains.

Jessica
Jessica was born and raised in Arizona and plans to stay her whole life in the heat of the Southwest. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute as a Veterinary Technician and is currently enrolled in school pursuing a bachelors degree. Jessica was raised with animals as pets including goats and fish. Currently she has three dogs, Roloff, Tipsy, and Tilly. When Jessica is not working or in school she loves spending time with family, attending musicals and tackling DIY projects from Pintrest. She plans to one day spend time traveling to foreign countries with her husband and daughter.

Amy
Amy was born and raised in Kansas and moved to Arizona in the spring of 2006. She grew up with many dogs and has always loved all types of animals. She currently has two dogs named Gidget and Bubba. In her spare time Amy enjoys watching TV and movies, spending time with her husband and traveling to visit family. Amy passed her board exam to become an Arizona Certified Veterinary Technician in 2009, and worked as a lead surgical technician, as a relief technician, and as an overnight technician before joining our team.

Britney
Britney is a Arizona Native and loves hot weather.  When Britney is not working or going to school she has a variety of many animals that keep her very busy.  She has 2 birds named Bruce and Chico, a tortoise named Maxx, 2 cats named Thomas and Jewelsie, 4 dogs and their names are Rexx, Gordie, Daphanie and Barkley and last but not least a fish named White Opera.  Britney loves working with animals and hopes to be doing it for a very long time.

Melissa
Melissa was born in Toronto, Canada and relocated to AZ in 2005. She has been in love with animals since she was young and is an avid Equestrian rider. She is currently an undergraduate at ASU enrolled in the pre-veterinary program. Melissa is also a mom to 9 pets, 2 dogs, named Penny & Benjamin, 3 cats, Spaz, Spanky & Annie, a bird named Peep, a Ferret, named Jack, a guinea pig named Ralph and a Bunny named Timothy. When Melissa, is not busy taking care of all her pets, she loves spending time with friends, taking a Pilates class, dancing and hiking.

Stephanie
Stephanie was born and raised in a small town outside of Monterey, CA. She was studying Sports Science before following her dream and moving to Arizona in 2007. Her passion for animals led her to work for HALO Animal Rescue and after seeing so many animals in need, it encouraged Stephanie to pursue education in all aspects of animal welfare. She is planning to continue her education and study in Animal Behavior and Spanish. In her free time she enjoys biking, going to the pool, travel and teach her dog, Johnny new tricks.

Sara D.
I have lived in and Arizona and loved animals since I was a very young age. Ive known I wanted to work with animals since I was ten and am now currently completing the veterinary technician program at Mesa Community College to become a certified veterinary technician. I have a cat named Carrot and am adopting a beagle from school named Aphrodite. When im not busy with work or school,I love going to new places, taking pictures, doing crafty projects and hanging out with friends and family.

Jennifer
Jennifer has had a passion for animals for as long as she can remember, and enjoys working to help them and their families. She grew up in Northern California. She has a son who shares her passion for animals, and they have a rescued Pit Bull Terrier named Diamond. Outside the clinic she enjoys being with her family and friends and those she loves.

Alexandra
Alex was raised in El Paso, Texas and attended Cedar Valley College in Dallas, Texas where she earned an AAS in Veterinary Technology. She spent the early part of career working in Texas. Alex has two dogs, Gnarlels a beagle/spaniel mix and Jocko a xoloitzcuitli/ miniture pinscher mix. Alex enjoys spending time with her dogs and family when she is home.

Jenna
Jenna was born in California but grew up in southern Maine and has lived in Arizona for 7 years. She has loved animals her whole life and has grown up with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, rats, fish, turtles, frogs, birds, and a bearded dragon. Jenna graduated from Apollo college as a veterinary assistant in 2007. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her horses. Apart from her love for animals she loves spending time with her husband and two sons. 


Pet Hotel

 
Tom
Tom was born and raised in Indiana, and lived in several different states before settling in Arizona. He has a varied work history including a home health care attendant, hotel front desk and night audit, a punch press operator manufacturing pipe hangers. He has always been a dog owner and lover and started working in the kennel over five years ago. "I get to play around with bunch of dogs everyday- who could ask for a better job,” he asks. Other interests include collecting unusual antique items as well as an old bottle collection.

Rene - Pet Hotel
Rene was born and raised outside of Monterey, California and moved to Arizona in 2008 to attend ASU. On completion of his bachelors degree he plans to study in the field of Physical Therapy or become a Chiropractor. He has two dogs, Thor and Johnny, and likes taking them on walks or traveling with him when he has the chance to get out of town. He loves to drive The Pet Ambulance around town, visiting dog parks to pass out information about the clinic and caring for the animals in the boarding facility.

Steve
Steve is an Arizona native, but has lived in Texas as well. Steve has two jobs, one is at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel and Spa. Steve has worked for the hotel for 20 years. He also works for Dr. Langhofer and the Pet Hotel for over 8 years. Steve has two dogs Snarf and Bugsy, and one cat, Dave.
